When the catalogue isn’t the answer.
One-off commissions, custom sizes, restoration work, special finishes. Discussed directly with the workshop.
Most of what we make sits inside the catalogue. Three collections, three finishes, ten centres of standard sizing. For the rest, the workshop takes commissions on a case-by-case basis.
What we make to order
Custom centres on bar handles (any centre between 96mm and 512mm). Specialised dimensions on knobs and cup pulls. Pieces matched to existing antique hardware. Hand-engraved variations of the Tudor rose mark on private commissions. Project-specific finishes (bronze patinas, dark verdigris, custom satin tones).
What we don’t do
Designer-led commissions where the brief calls for a vocabulary outside our three. We are a Birmingham brass house with a clear point of view; we send those briefs elsewhere with our blessing.
How it works
Write to the workshop with the brief, the drawing or sample if you have one, the quantities, and the project timeline. We respond within two working days with a quotation and a lead time. Most bespoke work ships in six to ten weeks from order confirmation.
Pricing
Bespoke commissions begin at £400 for a single piece (one-off castings carry a small-batch premium) and reduce per-piece for runs of twelve or more. Pattern-making costs are quoted separately.
