Satin Brass (lacquered)
Satin Brass (lacquered)
Brushed to a fine grain, sealed under a clear lacquer.
The Satin Brass finish is produced by brushing the cast and polished brass surface to a fine, directional grain, and then sealing it under a clear, hand-applied lacquer. The grain catches light softly without the high mirror reflection of polished brass. The lacquer protects the surface against fingerprints, water and the standard insults of a working kitchen.
Unlike Polished Unlacquered Brass, the Satin Brass finish does not develop a patina. The colour and surface hold.
This is our most maintenance-light finish, and the one most often specified for high-use kitchens, family homes, and contract projects.
